For the next episode of Parasite Radio, we have invited social scientist, writer and researcher Elisa Larkin Nascimento, to share more insights on the wonderful work of IPEAFRO (Institute for Afro-Brazilian Research and Studies); an institution that was founded by the late Abdias Nascimento in 1981 upon his return to Brazil after 13 years of exile in the US. As director of IPEAFRO, Elisa Nascimento a.o. coordinates Abdias Nascimento’s archives and artistic collections.
