Keti Koti at the Stedelijk
Events — Jul 1, 2023
Keti Koti means 'Broken Chains'. It symbolizes the abolition of slavery in the former colonies of Suriname and the Netherlands Antilles. The Stedelijk wants to contribute to an equal society. During Keti Koti, we reflect on the past and look forward to the future, celebrating freedom, equality and connectedness. We do this through events around the collection and the exhibition Felix de Rooy — Apocalypse.
