The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam presents, in collaboration with the Gerrit Rietveld Academie Stedelijk Stage-it | Rietveld Uncut: Hold Me Now Feel and Touch in an Unreal World. This program consists of temporary presentations and a large-scale Friday Night event with dynamic performances and interdisciplinary interventions throughout the museum building.

Rietveld Uncut is an annual presentation and performance program of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. For this program, Rietveld Uncut teams up with Studium Generale Rietveld Academie. The collaboration leads to a conference week, temporary presentations, and a Friday Night performance evnening in which the process of 'making and thinking’ comes together. Various departments and students have developed projects in relation to the theoretic framework of Studium Generale, researching the theme Hold Me Now – Feel and Touch in an Unreal World.

Stedelijk Stage-it

Stedelijk Stage-it is a new category within our program with performances and interventions in the field of music, performance, dance, theater, film and opera. This program offers opportunities for interdisciplinary collaborations in the field of performing arts, festivals and art education.
