Young Stedelijk x Amsterdam Art Week

During Amsterdam Art Week (20–25 May), the city transforms into a vibrant hub for contemporary art, bringing together (inter)national artists, art lovers, professionals, creatives, and collectors. The week offers a dynamic programme of over 200 exhibitions, openings, performances, events, and more.

This year our focus of Amsterdam Art Week on Saturday is on the vibrant art scene of Amsterdam West. Where we take our members through a full program along the many galleries, venues and artists that West has to offer!

We start at Stedelijk Museum, where we gather for a welcome and introduction. From there, you can follow a curated gallery route through Amsterdam West.

In the evening we will come together at De Sering for a special program and a unique experimental, plant-based 7-course menu, crafted with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. Between courses, elements of the evening’s programme will take place.

De Sering is a communal (art) space that facilitates various social initiatives. On the Saturday, as part of Amsterdam Art Week, De Sering will host a special program with a focus on Nieuw West with exhibitions, screenings and a live radio show by Big Toilet Radio.
