I believe in empty spaces; they're the most wonderful thing.

— Anselm Kiefer

Is there a space where you feel most comfortable? Your bedroom, for example. But it can also be another place; the gym, the caravan or a circus tent. We explore this feeling of freedom and security. With the help of our museum teachers, you will get to work depicting that space yourself and you will contribute to a large work of art.

Anselm Kiefer (1945, Dounaueschingen, Germany) was born just before the Second World War ended – as a child he played in the ruins of post-war Germany. Subjects such as history, mythology, literature and the landscape are recurring themes in his work. In almost all his work, decay also plays an important role. According to the artist, it offers hope for leaving the past behind and the promise of a new start.

You don't need any experience, everyone is welcome. Registration is also not necessary, join us whenever and as long as you want.
