Previously, Goudsmit worked in London as Head of Frieze Studios, the creative agency that is part of Frieze, an organization active in contemporary art and culture. As studio head, she led prestigious projects like Frieze Music, Frieze Film and the Frieze Artist Award, and coordinated major events in cities such as London, New York and Los Angeles. Goudsmit established collaborations with commercial brands and non-profits, and introduced new concepts including the first VR exhibition at Frieze New York.

The Stedelijk is delighted to welcome Goudsmit as Manager Development. Director Rein Wolfs comments: “With her international experience and strategic insights into fundraising and relationship management, we are looking forward to the innovative contributions Keziah will bring to the organisation. Her role is vital in ensuring the continuity and further development of the Stedelijk. The Development Department plays an increasingly crucial role in securing the museum's financial future so that we can continue to engage with a wide and diverse audience.

Keziah Goudsmit: “I’m looking forward to inspiring and connecting both local and international companies, funds and members to this distinguished institution. In doing so, I hope to expand the museum’s scope and accessibility, so everyone has the chance to experience and enjoy the unique collection and special exhibitions at the Stedelijk.”

As Manager of Development, Goudsmit advises the board and is a member of the management team. She will be in charge of leading a substantial share of the museum’s fundraising efforts. In collaboration with her Development team, she translates strategy into action. The department identifies opportunities, initiates partnerships with funds and sponsors, and manages and develops the various membership models to secure the museum’s financial sustainability. She also works closely with the team of the Stedelijk Museum Fonds, which independently manages partnerships with private benefactors wishing to help the museum realize its vision for the future.
