With her newest works, Turato seeks to take back language in an era dominated by AI-generated content. This quest signals a shift in her practice. Previously, Turato drew from the flood of language found online and on social media, engaging with its seductive, detached surfaces. Now, she turns inward, working entirely with self-written material that is fragile, personal, angry, and deeply embodied.
This Artist Talk is part of an inspiring series of conversations designed to provide a deeper insight into the creative process and artistic expression of exceptional artists. Step into the mind of an artist and discover what drives their work.
